Books and PJs

My Nonnie got me these cool new PJs. I really like them.

After we watched the Red Raiders shuck some corn in Nebraska, I took a bath and Mama put me in my new PJs and let me read some books.

I just want to sing

My toys are all organized in the living room now thanks to this handy shelving unit! When I first saw it I went over and just sat in front of it staring at it's beauty.

Hello... is anyone there? I love to talk on the phone.

Singing is a new passion of mine. Mama or Daddy will sing one of my favorite songs such as the "ABC's" or the hippopotamus song and then I have a go at it while swaying my hips and bopping my head. Then it's their turn again!

And I've discovered that pieces of chicken make for good cars and my plate makes for a good race track.

Long walks around town...

Mama thought I was all better today so she took me for a long walk around town. We stopped to play on the grass at the college.

I'm not all better though. My sickness came back. :(

I like climbing into spaces I can't fit in. This toy is one example.

Sad Face

I'm not feeling well today. I threw up in the night in my crib but I didn't cry so Mama and Daddy didn't know until I woke up this morning with dried stuff all over me and my bed.

Mama and Daddy were supposed to go on a date tonight, but they will have to stay home with me. I'll like that.

I only want to take one nap a day now, so on Tuesdays and Thursdays while Joie is using my crib I fall asleep on Mama on the couch while reading books and listening to Jars of Clay.

Tuesday, Mama and I took a nasty spill down the stairs. I was really scared because we fell and then Mama was hurt and that really scared me. She's just bruised up a bit and is getting better. I didn't get hurt at all.

rain, rain, go away...

Reading books is one of my favorite things to do. Lately, I prefer that Daddy read them to me; in fact, I prefer Daddy over Mama at the moment. He's more fun. (Except when I fall down and hurt myself, then I want Mama.)

I get to play with Joie on Tuesdays and Thursdays for a few minutes. She sleeps most of the time she's at my house, but I always am glad she's here. I like to show her how to use my toys.

On Mondays and Thursdays, I get to go to the DeepEnd childcare area at Daddy's school for a couple of hours. I have lots of fun with the workers and other kids. We play games and eat snacks.

Here I am with Mama. The last few days it's been raining all day. so I haven't gotten to play outside very much. I'm ready for the sun to start shining again.
